Najla R. Muhammad-Jaaber is the founder of HALLA Inc., Helping Adolescents Lead Lives of Achievement which will one day be the vehicle that will reconstruct our communities! Through HALLA Inc. Najla organizes events such as monthly skating parties and spoken word show, ‘Kings & Queens of Spoken Word’ for youth and the community at large. She plans to open schools and youth centers under HALLA Inc. As a spoken word artist Najla has performed at the at various shows, schools and community events. She views spoken word a medium that can feed this starving society messages of truth and inspiration. Najla is an educator, writer, mentor, activist, poet, painter, public speaker, photographer, all around Soul HeARTist. Najla is currently finishing up her album which will be released July 30, 2011, 7pm at Mursik Room in Newark,NJ.
